TikTok link tracking: how to see who clicks your bio link

Track every TikTok bio-link click by platform, country, and device with a tracked redirect. Automatic classification, revenue on Pro.

Short answer: track TikTok clicks by putting a tracked redirect between your TikTok bio and the destination. Every tap on your TikTok bio link hits the redirect first, gets logged with the platform label (TikTok), and continues to your destination. This works for the one clickable link in your bio and for any linksync short URL you paste into a caption or comment where the platform allows.

What TikTok itself shows about link clicks

TikTok Analytics reports profile views, bio-link taps, follower growth, and video-level engagement. Bio-link taps is a count. It does not follow the tap to the destination, and it does not tell you which video sent the tap (it aggregates across your whole profile). If you want per-video attribution or per-destination analytics, TikTok on its own does not answer.

How to actually track TikTok links

  1. Get a tracked redirect. Sign up for a link tracker (linksync is free forever for up to 5 tracked short links). You get a URL like linksync.me/l/aB3d pointing at your destination.
  2. Put the tracked URL in your TikTok bio. This replaces whatever URL is there today. If you have multiple destinations, point the tracked URL at a bio page that lists them all.
  3. Read the click log.Every tap from TikTok shows up in your tracker's dashboard, labeled automatically. On linksync, TikTok is detected from the in-app browser fingerprint (Bytedance webview) and the referrer host if present.
  4. Connect revenue if you sell. Attribute purchases back to the TikTok click by connecting Stripe or dropping a small script on your store. Setup takes a couple of minutes.

What you can see once tracking is on

  • Total TikTok clicks over any window. Not just a lifetime total, but by day, by week, by month.
  • Which country each click came from. Useful when your TikTok reach spikes internationally and you want to confirm the traffic mix.
  • Mobile-versus-desktop split. TikTok bio-link clicks are near-universally mobile, but confirming this in your data helps rule out non-TikTok referrals that got bucketed as TikTok by mistake.
  • Revenue per TikTok click (on Pro). Once Stripe or the tracker script is connected, sales attribute back to the click that started the session.

What tracking does not tell you

  • Which specific TikTok video sent the click. The click carries the platform label (TikTok) but not the individual video. TikTok does not expose that in the referrer. If per-video attribution matters, use different tracked URLs per campaign (a launch-week URL, an evergreen URL) and swap the bio URL between them.
  • Anonymous identity. No tracker shows you which person tapped. Bio-link tracking is aggregate patterns, not individuals.
